Join the harvest and pick olives for a special 2018 harvest of Gooramadda Olives’s olive oil. Following the pick, glass of local wine in hand, go behind-the-scenes with producers Rob and Melanie. Learn how they grow, ferment and press olives to create a delicious range of table olives, oils and other artisan produce. Sample the range before your hosts pack you off for a picnic of locally produced gourmet goodies to enjoy in their picturesque grove overlooking the Murray River.
The following day, the producers will press your harvested olives for you and send you a bottle of your very own extra virgin olive oil to enjoy a home. Liquid gold.
Gooramadda Olives is located overlooking the Murray River between Rutherglen and Albury-Wodonga. Gooramadda Olives consistently produces some of Australia’s best extra virgin olive oils awards including Champion Boutique Oil at Sydney Fine Food and Best in Class at New York International.
Their naturally fermented olives have also been highly awarded. Visit the ‘cellar door’ to taste from an extensive range of black and green olive varieties together with dressings, tapenade, infused oils – all estate-grown and produced on site.
